Ceimig has professionally qualified chemists who specialise in the synthesis of precious metal organometallic and co-ordination compounds. We have performed a number of custom synthesis programmes for global pharmaceutical and electronic companies who have required diverse materials such as glucose mediators to volatile metallic materials for Atomic Layer Deposition requirements.

Our chemists synthesise complexes with scale-up in mind and hence the synthetic routes we devise address the future possible scale-up of the route to commercial manufacturing and purity requirements. We are able to synthesise initial volumes from 5-20 g for evaluation purposes and we have successfully developed preparative methods to the kilo scale and beyond. Since our chemists are trained in high purity methods we are able to offer pharmaceutical grade test products for evaluation.

In house analytical testing is utilised by qualified analytical chemists working to ISO 9001 standards. We also have strong links to academic institutions for in depth characterisation of materials.
